Challenge

Design a productivity dashboard that would empower teams and managers to effectively track, analyze, and improve performance. The aim was to create an intuitive and visually appealing interface that would simplify data insights and support informed decision-making.

Design Process

Competitor Analysis

Started by studying existing solutions to understand what already works in the market and identify areas for improvement or additional functionality. This helped define the key focus points for development.

Prototyping

Created wireframes to structure the interface and data visualization. Focused on ensuring intuitive navigation and accessible information.

Design

Developed a modern and minimalist interface, emphasizing data visualization and user-friendly interaction.

Handoff to Development

Prepared all final materials, including specifications and styles, to ensure the development team could accurately implement the project.

Dashboard Design Solutions

The dashboard was created to simplify working with data and help managers and teams quickly find the insights they need. With the use of graphs, timelines, and tables, the information is presented in a clear and easy-to-understand format. Customizable filters make the dashboard flexible, allowing each user to focus on analyzing the data that matters most to them.

I paid special attention to making the interface intuitive and user-friendly. The clean, minimalist design helps users concentrate on what’s important — analyzing performance and improving workflows.

One of the key features is the comparison tool. Users can easily compare the performance of different teams or individuals, identify strengths and weaknesses, and spot trends. Color-coded visualizations make working with data even easier and more accessible.

This project is an example of how complex tasks can be solved with a clear and user-friendly design that helps users make better decisions.

License and Billing Management

I focused on creating a user-friendly interface for managing licenses and billing to make administrative tasks as simple and efficient as possible. Users can easily perform key actions such as purchasing licenses, assigning them to team members, managing payment methods, and viewing invoices.

In the licenses section, users can track assigned licenses, allocate them to team members, or revoke access using a simple toggle. The process of purchasing additional licenses is streamlined through a pop-up that provides all necessary information about costs and updates, ensuring transparency and ease of use.

In the billing section, users can add or update payment methods and easily view transaction history and invoices. All data is organized to ensure that important information is accessible within a few clicks.

By focusing on intuitive navigation and a clear visual structure, this part of the project demonstrates how functional design can simplify essential business processes while maintaining a modern and professional appearance.

Activity Tracking and Task Management

The system allows users to quickly and conveniently manage tasks. Work hours are automatically logged when the app is launched, and tasks are added by clicking the "Add a Task" button and selecting an activity from the list. Completion is confirmed with a checkmark, simplifying the logging process.

In case of errors, the History tab provides an easy way to correct entries, update, or delete tasks.

For moments when users need a break or have a meeting to attend, the system includes dedicated buttons for pausing the tracking process. This ensures that work is only logged when actively performed, maintaining the accuracy of time tracking and allowing users to manage their day efficiently.

Comprehensive Reporting

The reporting functionality completes the solution, providing users with data to optimize performance. Reports cover individual productivity, team efficiency, and role-specific metrics, offering a comprehensive view of organizational effectiveness.

Individual Performance helps evaluate each employee's contribution and track progress. Team Reporting highlights overall productivity and collaboration within the team. Role Performance analyzes how specific roles impact goal achievement.
